    I have been associated with Walkergate Community School for over 20 years as all three of my children came to this school, as did my family. I've lived in the local area all of my life and I feel I have a very strong attachment to Walkergate.

    I am very proud to be Chair of Governors and love being part of a community and family oriented school and working alongside motivated and inspirational staff. I have been given the opportunity to make a difference to the children who attend Walkergate Community School by working with staff, parents and children to make us an outstanding, caring and happy school.
